A QR code in the programme, or infrared receivers at the door. Each attendee picks their language on their own device.
The conference runs
Near-real-time translation with a few seconds of latency. If a speaker switches language, the system detects it automatically.

Listening via QR code is billed separately (from €100 depending on attendee numbers), as is travel outside Galicia. Infrared receivers are quoted per attendee. Everything else is included in the day rate.
Frequent questions
Do we need to hire a sound engineer?
No. One cable from the sound desk to the server. Anyone on your team can set it up in five minutes, and we send a one-page guide plus a ten-minute video call beforehand.
How many attendees can listen at once?
With QR/web access there is no practical limit: audio is served over the local network. With infrared receivers the limit is the number of units, quoted according to attendance.
What if the internet goes down?
Nothing happens. Translation runs on the server inside the room; no internet is needed to translate. Only QR listening needs the local network.
Is it as good as a human interpreter?
For talks with stable vocabulary, quality is very high and constant through the day, with no fatigue. For heavily overlapping improvised debate, a human interpreter still catches nuances. We will tell you when a session is better served by a human booth.
Do you work outside Galicia?
Yes. We are based in Santiago de Compostela and cover Galicia as standard, travelling to the rest of Spain and northern Portugal with a fixed price agreed in advance.
